We shall establish, maintain, and carry out a positive continuing program of specific practices designed to ensure equal opportunity and nondiscrimination in every aspect of station employment policy and practice. FCC Form 396 Exhibit 3 – Narrative Statement

The FCC requires WOSU to retain records to document that the station has satisfied these requirements. WOSU Public Media does this in the form of an annual EEO report, created on June 1st of each year. The report includes a listing of all vacancies, the recruitment sources used to fill the vacancies, the number of candidates interviewed and other related information.

The FCC requires that these reports, which may be maintained in an electronic format, shall be placed in the stations’ public file and retained until after grant of the renewal application for the license term during which the vacancy was filled. WOSU filed for a license renewal in 2012 and will do so again in 2020. Below are the reports for this license period.
