Ohio Gov. John Kasich has issued a reprieve for a condemned killer scheduled to die next month following the recent extended execution of an inmate who repeatedly gasped during the procedure.

Columbus school officials say bus stops and sidewalks are too hazardous in many areas. The district has cancelled classes for the third time this week. Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman ordered city plow trucks to work residential streets. Plowing and treatment in city neighborhoods will continue today.
