The 2013 “Taste of Dine Originals” will take place on Thursday, May 9 from 6 to 9 pm at the Capital
University Field House, 670 Pleasant Ridge Avenue in Bexley.
“Taste of Dine Originals” is an annual event featuring tastings and samplings from the 50 Dine Originals member restaurants, 30 vineyards, three craft breweries, and local micro distilleries. Chefs, brew masters, and winery representatives showcase some of their signature dishes.
Patrons receive a wine glass upon entry and then graze among the more than 50 food and wine booths.
According to the Dine Originals Columbus website, “Dine Originals Columbus is a community of independently owned and operated restaurants in central Ohio.
The Mission of Dine Originals Columbus is to celebrate, support and promote locally owned and operated independent restaurants by providing unique dining experiences for its patrons and collaborative services and benefits for it members.
Independents restaurants really define the culture, character and culinary diversity of our city. Dine Originals Columbus has taken its place in our community as an advocate for independent restaurants.”
The $100 admission fee offers unlimited food tasting and beverage samples.
Tickets may be purchased online through the Buckeye Ranch website. All proceeds benefit the Buckeye Ranch and Dine Originals Columbus.
