Executive Chef Thomas Smith at the Worthington Inn will join All Sides Weekend’s monthly food show Chefs in the City Friday morning at 11 am on 89.7 NPR News.
Smith, who has served in his current capacity since 2002, will discuss how chefs stay sharp and the influence of local products in the dining experience with Chefs in the City host Marilyn Smith.
Chef Smith moved to Columbus after serving in the U.S. Air Force to pursue a culinary career. He learned in the kitchens of the city’s top restaurants including Lindey’s, Rigsby’s Cuisine Volatile, and Alex’s Bistro. At the Worthington Inn, the chefs focuses on a global cuisine with strong roots in classic French and Italian flavors.
Then later in the show, Marilyn Smith will be joined by WOSU food critics and bloggers Rich Terapak Sr. and Rich Terapak Jr. as well as Miriam Bowers-Abbott, restaurant reviewer for Columbus Underground.
