COLUMBUS, OHIO, MARCH 17, 2014 – Two guys. Expert guests. And everything you need to know in Ohio sports news. It’s “After the Score,” the new sports podcast from 89.7 NPR News. With no rants and no nonsense, “After the Score” is a weekly podcast that covers everything from Aaron Craft preparing for Senior Night at Ohio State University, the Columbus Blue Jackets – rollercoaster season to the roller derby.

“After the Score” is hosted by 89.7 NPR News Morning Anchor, Steve Brown and WOSU Public Media’s Web Content Manager, Thomas Bradley. Each week, Steve and Thomas focus on sports in Ohio through interviews with regional experts and recurring features like “Back & Forth,” which highlights stats, predictions and perspectives through commentary and banter.

“After the Score” joins three other radio podcasts from Classical 101: “In the Key of D’anzmayr,” “ A Conductor’s Life,” “Mozart Minute and “Opera Abbreviated”.

“In the Key of D’anzmayr,” hosted by Classical 101 Morning Announcer Boyce Lancaster, is a series of conversations with David Danzmayr, the new music director for ProMusica Chamber Orchestra.

“Mozart Minute,” hosted by Jennifer Hambrick, Classical 101 Midday Announcer, takes a look at the life of Mozart and little known tidbits and trivia about the Austrian composer, in a minute. And “Opera Abbreviated”, hosted by Christopher Purdy, Classical 101 Producer, gives you the plotlines without the platitudes with quick synopses of the operas in The Met’s “Live in HD” series.
